The book ENGLISH PHONETIC AND PHONOLOGY divided short vowels into 6 vowels.
After that it mentioned the SCHWA as a short vowel too, but not one of the six short vowels.
Why?
What is the different between them...???
Thank you.

I have no idea. There are seven short vowels in English, /ɪ, ʊ, e, ə, æ, ʌ, ɒ/

I can't think of any significant difference between schwa and the other six, except perhaps that schwa never appears in a stressed syllable.

The word is 'difference', not 'different. Please end your sentences with a single punctuation.

I have already told you that I do not know of any significant difference between schwa and the other six, except perhaps that schwa never appears in a stressed syllable. All the short vowels are lax.
