It's OK though I don't see any reason to use the word "English". Surely, it's simply not good practice to use too many bombastic words in an essay, regardless of which language you're writing it in.

How I have read from post above: the usage bombastic words in an essay isn't good.

"Bombastic writing" might be better, it's true but this list of definitions might help.
