Dear teacher,

Please advise if the sentence below is grammatically correct:

"It has four very marked ridges and faces that make it look like a pyramid."

Thank you 5jj, but can you explain why it is correct. I thought we should use a singular verb after "it"?

The complete paragraph is as below:

"The second wonder is the Matterhorn in the Alps, Switzerland. It has four very marked ridges and faces that make it look like a pyramid. It commands a breathtaking view from the summit."

The relative pronoun that has reference to four very marked ridges and faces. It is plural and third person. The corresponding form of make is make. The causative make is followed by an infinitive without to: make it (there is no to here) look...

I am not a professional and not a native, mind.
