The effects of divorce on a person
Divorce is the number one method of separation amongst couples in the U.S. “What is it?” One may ask. It is a court decree that terminates a marriage; also known as marital dissolution. No one ever wants to go through this process, for it can be very traumatic. Divorce can have several consequences, none of which are any good, but the two major effects are emotional burden and financial disaster.
First and foremost, emotional burden is what affects a person who just went through a divorce the most. There are MANY reasons as to why a person goes through a divorce but the mere thought that the one who someone proclaimed their eternal love, solitude, and life to, has walked out on them forever, can cause one’s emotions to make a turn for the worst. That person may never have the same outlook on life; they may feel as though, no one else is good enough for them and isolate themselves from the rest of the world because, the mentality “no one else is ever going to replace my last spouse” will be on their mind for a long time, possibly up to several years.
Furthermore, financial disaster is bound to occur after a divorce. After depending on your spouse for quite some time, getting comfortable with your living conditions, and having a stable income to cover all, if not most, of the necessities needed to be financially secure in your area, a divorce can disrupt the flow of balance almost immediately. When the two incomes become separated, the things one would have been able to previously afford become only a mere fantasy.
In conclusion, emotional burden and financial disaster can take a heavy toll on one’s overview on life after a divorce. No one wants to go through this process; neither does anyone want it to happen, for it isn’t pleasant to go through and will cause grief.

"none of which are any good" is ok, but "are positive" would be better.

"who someone proclaimed" -someone "once proclaimed"
"possibly up to several years", "possibly years" or "possibly forever"

I'm not sure if "flow of balance" works here. "disrupt the balance" would be better.

"one's overview on life after" -overview on, "one's life after" is good.

The last sentence is repeating the same idea. "No one wants to go through this process, for it isn't pleasant and will cause grief." or "long-lasting grief" to stress the consequences.
