John frequently argues with his sister over toys.

I have transformed the above sentence as follows:

John's frequent argument with his sister is over toys.

Have I transformed the sentence correctly? Thanks.

I'd make "argument" plural and change "is" to "are", but otherwise, the sentence makes sense. I'd tell you the original sentence is more natural, though.

No. Try, "John has frequent arguments with his sister over toys."

Thanks, bhaisahab.

I forgot to state that the sentence has to be transformed starting with "My frequent argument _____________________ .

John frequently argues with his sister over toys.

I have transformed the above sentence as follows:

John's frequent argument with his sister is over toys.

This is a question set in an exam. I wonder if the above sentence, which I have transformed is natural. I feel this is not a good quesion.

Thanks.

John frequently argues with his sister over toys.

John's frequent argument with his sister is over toys. (Please note that the transformed sentence should start with the words in bold.)

Could someone please comment whether the transformed sentence is natural?

Thanks.
