Hi all
Which of the following is more correct:
Under the cover of darkness
or
Under cover of darkness
I did a google and found that both of them are often used (the first with over 5,000,000 mentions) and the second with over 2,000,000 mentions, but i would like to know which of them is grammatically correct.

Thanks.

I would omit the article but they are both correct.
