When I need someone's assistance in getting a job done, can I use this sentence at the end of the email?

"Need your intervention on this subject."

Thank you,
Titus Andrews

I'd just say, "I need your help with this".

Thank you, fivejedjon! But can I use the sentence I have posted. Does it sound right to you or is there a better way to say.

It sounds wrong if you are asking for assistance/help. Even if you are asking for intervention ( by a line manager, for example), then I would still probably use 'support' or 'help' rather than 'intervention'.

So where does that sentence or the word "intervention" fit in.

Someone in authority will stop something from happening.

I don't work directly with "Anne," but she works in our company. She told me that she was going to send product A to a customer, but I know that product A should not be shipped out because there is a problem with it. I tell Anne this. She says, "Look, my orders were to ship it out today. No one told me about any problems, but I know that I'll have a problem with my boss if I don't do what she said to do--ship this out today."

I try to convince Anne to hold the shipment. She insists she will have it on the FedEx truck by 4 pm. I call my boss to intervene.
