Get something out among your teeth?
During eating, it is quite common some flexible food, like a piece of pork or vegetable get in your teeth, one will have to get the stuff out with the toothpick? How to express " get ...out" , and " get in" in standard spoken English?
Re: Get something out among your teeth?
Here is one way to express it:
I have some food stuck between my teeth. I'll use a toothpick to try to get it out. Alternatively, I might say, dig it out or pick it out.
