Hi,
I do not really understand when to use 'to' or 'for' in a sentence. Let say, should it be: “we need to create a record to maintain some information.” or “we need to create a record for maintaining some information.” ?? And why????
Two example sentences are shown below:
First, the customer service representative needed to create an identify record to maintain demographic data of the customer. Second ......
or we should write like this:
First, the customer service representative needed to create an identify record for maintaining demographic data of the customer. Second ......
