Hi all,

I got an e-mail (also c.c. to Edwin) with the following wordings:-

QUOTE

Dear JY,

Please let us have the documents by next Monday.

Edwin (reading in copy), please arrange signing of the documents.

UNQUOTE

I am not sure about the meaning of "reading in copy". Is it the same to say "By copy of this e-mail to Edwin"?

Thanks!

JY

So does reading in copy means who is reading a copy of this email?

There are many other ways to say this.

I've copied Stacey on this e-mail so she can get the process started.
In copying Peter, I'm asking him to get the documents ready.

The way it's written in your original is not familiar to me.
