Could you possibly tell me what is the difference between these sentences?

1. The message was passed to inspector pew.

2. The message was sent to inspector pew.

Could you possibly tell me what is the difference between these sentences?

1. The message was passed to inspector pew.

2. The message was sent to inspector pew.

Your verbs mean essentially the same thing, although "passed" might mean it was physically given to him by hand, and sent could mean by post or by email. However, they could mean exactly the same thing.

Both sentences have the same error regarding capitalisation of proper nouns/names.
