Welcome to the forum.

We don't write letters for people. Please try to write the letter yourself, post it here and we will look at it and see if any corrections are needed. Remember to follow the rules of written English:

- Start every sentence with a capital letter.
- Always capitalise the word "I".
- End every sentence with a single appropriate punctuation mark.
- Always put a space after a full stop, comma, question mark or exclamation mark.

Dear Mr [Surname],

I need to go to my home country to attend my brother's marriage on 8th Sept. I request leave of absence from 5th Sept to 10th Sept inclusive. You may consider my leave as without pay.

Thank you,

Yours sincerely,

ABC

Note that 5th to 10th Sept is 6 days leave. If you are returning to work on the 10th say '...from 5th to 9th Sept inclusive'.

Dear Mr [Surname],

Hello Rover_KE,

Do we attend a marriage or a wedding? The latter seems correct to me.

And when we talk about a day of a month, don't we use something like the followings;

September the 8th
The 8th of September

Thanks in advance.

Rover DID correct it for you.
We can't possibly add more detail - we have no idea what the circumstances are. It seems to say all it needs to say.

In addition to the comments above, please note that you need to use full English words on this forum. Don't write "u", write "you".

The 8th of September Yes — that's how we say it. This is how we write it: Sept 8(th)/8(th) Sept.

Seeing as the OP's brother was getting married today, I think we can assume that the email requesting leave is no longer required. I am closing this thread.
