Hi everyone.

I am new to this forum and thought I'd take the opportunity to introduce myself over here.

I'm from Canada and I take pleasure in helping students with their English. It comes naturally to me and I'm happy to share my know-how!

Looking forward to chatting with you all!

:-D

OI have seen it us[STRIKE]ing[/STRIKE]es in that way. For example, I have seen the below structure very often.

I, the principle, hereby declare that......

I, the principal, hereby declare ... is fine
We, the students, are very glad to have ... is fine
We students are very glad to have ... is fine.
We, students, are very glad to have ... is normally unacceptable.
