Hello

Overspending is not an option for most of us even if it is for treating a health condition, which has been tormenting us for years. There are other important financial obligations that we need to settle. This is one of the main reasons why people settle with natural treatment methods as they find synthetic options expensive.

Are the words "settle" and "settle with" used correctly?

The first usage implies deal with, cope with, take into account, work on, find a solution for.
The second usage implies accept (for lack of an alternative), settle for, say yes to.

So the answer to your question is 'Hmm :-? Y - e - s, but it's pretty unwise (from the point of view of communication) to use the same word twice so close together with two separate meanings.'
