Hello,

You don't have to come and see the new house if you don't wish.

Obligation

You are not under obligation to come and see the new house if you don't wish

Correct? Thank you in advance.

Obligation

You are not under any obligation to come and see the new house if you don't wish to.

The key word is "obligation", it must be kept as it is.

Perhaps you could have told us that in post #1.

In that case, you can say "You are not under any obligation to ..." or "You are under no obligation to ...".

I suspect ucef neglected to tell us that in post #1 because we would have twigged it was a homework question.

No doubt, but since answers had already been posted, I saw little point in closing the stable door after the horse had bolted!

I don't post any homeworks! I just practice a lot of grammar exercises and when I come across a hard exercise I post it in order to be helped with it, that's the way it is :)
