Hi all,
I would appreciate it if anyone could please tell me whether the second choice is used in BrE or not?

In an episode from 'My Family', an American friend, having just arrived from the airport, asks Ben if he could 'take care of that' referring to the taxi outside waiting for his fare. Susan, in answer, says, 'sure, Ben will look after it!'.

Hope this helps you get the context. Thanks a lot in advance.
