Hello,

I have to choose the correct verb for the following sentence:

Are you going / will you play football with us on Sunday, Jack?

Are you going would imply Jack knows about the game.
I'm wondering if a native speaker might utter "will you...?" if they have, for example, run into Jack in the steet and decided to invite him to join in.

Thank you.
