Is this when you are trying to do a search?
Why does this message keep appearing even when I haven't used the forum for half an hour and want to use it?
"This forum requires that you wait 20 seconds between searches. Please try again in 19 seconds."
What's wrong with the forum?

I've never seen or heard of this issue before. Can you give us any more background so we can look into it further please? Is anyone else seeing this error?

Sometimes I didn't use this forum for hours, with one of the pages open and then I clicked 'My Posts' to open it, this message would appear. Then I waited several minutes or even half an hour, and then tried again. Again I got the message. But when I first went to 'ask a teacher...', then I could possibly open my posts.
Besides, it takes much longer than it used to to open a page. I don't know why. Every time I have to wait impatiently. Hope you can solve the problem. Thank you in advance.
I still cannot read my posts with that message keeping appearing whenever I try to get onto my ask-a-teacher posts.
And now I have another message from the forum whenever I want to send out a thread asking questions:

I've sent a question post a dozen times, and this message insists on appearing, and I haven't got through yet. I don't know how to deal with this upsetting and frustrating message and get along. Could anyone help me please?
