What means already pinged and what is address with word "drug"

Hello

I need 5 posts before I can send links. Name of thread was "describe yourself" when I was going to reply I saw this "already pinged" -text with links. Since I do not know if that was "drug" like medication or "drug" like illegal drug I did not replied thread at all. I just thought it is better ask what it means.

It was not in the title, links came when I was going to reply. I send those links when I get my 5th post.

No need. FlowerFairy is talking about a forum feature called Pingbacks whish as been used by a spammer to post spam links in that thread.
