Search limitations
Hi,
I was wondering if it's necessary for a thread search to exclude so many words (if any at all) here. This might be a good idea for general searches in most places, but here, where we get a few thousand questions every month asking about 'at' vs 'in' vs 'to', it would be useful to be able to search for "at in to" (in thread titles, not posts). But all these words are excluded.
Someone asked about the possible uses of "would" the other day. Even this word is excluded. So all those useful past posts about the uses of 'would' are lost to a search. The search limitations on this site are based on a false premise about the non-importance of common words.
Thanks.
