From the lack of responses, it appears to me you've been singled out by the goddess Fortune.

Over the last couple of weeks or so, I have found that when I wish to QUOTE my reponse, I sometimes get the "You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page" message, although I have logged in. It happens, though less often, when I click on 'Like'. This is not a serious problem, but it's a little irritating to have to log in again in mid-session.
Is this happening to anybody else?

A couple of weeks ago, changes were being made to the server software, which would have been the cause of those error messages. I haven't seen this Quote problem.

To anyone suffering from the 'not logged in' issue: This sounds like your site cookie has been corrupted somehow. can you please try deleting any browser cookies from UsingEnglish.com and then log in again, making sure that the "Remember Me" box is ticked.
Let me know if this solves the issue.
Thanks :)
