Unable to post using original ID

Hi

I recently signed in with an ID I have had for years - but have not used for a while. I was informed that i need to update my profile to be able to post, however when i clicked on my profile to update it then said i sis not have access to do so. Can anyone please advise?

Obviously I have signed up again with a different ID to ask this question! as I knew no other way to contact.

sounds easy doesnt it! - no, its not showing... i even did a ctrl f for the word 'message' in case i was missing it? are there any rules that say that as im a new member (with this id) i cant send mails!?

Unfortunately, yes, You have to have a certain number of posts before you can PM. - I think it's ten.

As this is effectively your private thread, why not post seven messages with just a '.' in each? That should boost you to the ten you need.

I wouldn't normally suggest this, but it seeems reasonable on this occasion. You can always delete them later if you wish - after you have sorted out your current problem.
