Hello,
I've found an interesting thread dated December 2010 and wanted to subscribe to it by choosing "subscribe to this thread" option from the Thread Tools menu. I got a confirmation message, as usual, but for some reason it's not on my Subscribed Threads list. When I go back to the thread and check on the subscription status, I see the 'unsubscribe' option. However, my list won't show it to me. Is there any way to fix that?

Interesting questionAt first I thought 'Why bother to be told about additions to the thread when there aren't going to be any?' But I now realize that my question assumes one use of the 'subscription' function (based on its original meaning), and that there are others (archiving - nothing to do with new posts). I'll stay tuned.

Are you sure that the thread isn't appearing in your list? It will be ordered by date, so a post from December 2010 may be listed some pages into the list. I just tried it with one from Nov. 2010 and it was on page 6.

Oh.... I should have thought of it!I've found the thread on page 10
Thank you!
PS. I'd like to take this opportunity and ask one more question. As my Subscribed Threads list is getting longer and longer, it takes me quite a while to find the thread I need (and it can be quite problematic because I don't sometimes remember when the question/answer I want to look at again was posted or who I received the answer from). Is it possible to seach among My Subscribed Threads only? Or should I fix this inconvenience by creating additional folders and classifying my threads into them?

If you remember who posted in the thread (since it's your subscribed thread, you're likely one of those people), you can do this:
Search -> Advanced Search
You can enter keywords, user name, tags, prefixes and dates there, as well as choose forums you want to search.
Thanks, Birdeen! I don't use Advanced Search much (for no obvious reason, though), but I think we'll have to become friends.
