What do you mean by 'submit an article?' If you mean 'submit/post a message' or 'start a thread', then you have succeeded in doing that with your post in this thread.

They are referring to the articles area of the site which has a 'submit an article' facility. See Submit an English Language Article - UsingEnglish.com

This is now fixed and should be working now.

Belated thank you Red 5 for the help and apologies for the confusion 5jj. I posted a new thread regarding article approval but then remembered I had started this one so thought I would try here as well. Apologies for the duplication.

The article submission works fine now but I was wondering how do I approve (or have the articles approved)?

When you submit, the article is sent for someone to read and post online or not.
