Why only 483 thread is available to see?

Hello teachers,

This forum has been very helpful for students like me.


I could see only up to twenty pages and over 483 threads at a time.

Is there any way to see the older threads like that is posted two months ago?

Hello teachers,

Since I posted this thread three days ago and haven't got a reply yet, I have to presume that I didn't make my doubt clear enough to get a reply.So, let me put it in a proper way.

I have been reading the" ask the teacher" section carefully.

It is much like a book to read where I find new things to study.

But why the number of threads to be viewed is limited by time. A thread which is posted today will not be available to view after two months(to the best of my knowledge).


Is there any other way to view those threads?


"Search" facility is of some help but we cannot search something that we don't know.

When you are reading any forum, scroll to the bottom of the page and adjust the settings in the 'Display Options' area, located just under the thread list.

Sir, I found the option through Quick links->edit options->Thread Display Options.

Though I made the necessary changes there, It still appears to be same.
