Missing graphics
When I come here http://www.usingenglish.com/forum/as...tml#post845576 via Firefox, I cannot see a graph
When I go there via Internet Explorer, I can see a graph.
Is there any explantion for this?

Re: Missing graphics
That's odd - I can see it (in FF). (If I wanted to sound knowledgeable I'd ask what version you're using. But I don't know either how to check or what to do about it.)
I suppose it might be something to do with the platform you're using; mine - for my sins - is Windows 7 <hawk-spit>.

Re: Missing graphics
5jj, it may seem like a stupid question, but were you logged in? When I browsed that link with Firefox (not logged in), I saw no graph. I logged in, I browsed the link again and the graph was there. Then I logged out and the graph was still there (but if you clear your browser's cache after you log out, you will not be able to see the graph until you log in and load it in your browser's cache by browsing that thread). I think that you cannot view attachments if you are not logged in, but once you log in and view the post (including the graph) the graph is saved in Firefox's cache memory.
BobK, log out, clear your cache, view thread not logged in. Is the graph there?

But it's always interesting to find out how things work... Isn't it?

Re: Missing graphics
I tried it in three browsers- I could see it in Chrome and Firefox, but not IE. I then logged in in IE and it worked- it worked in the others because they are ones I use and both logged me in automatically.
