Hi,
I would like to congratulate to the ones who have reconstructed this web. Well done!!

Sorry you have temporarily lost those at-a-glance features, but the data is still there to see on the profiles just a single click away.
The forum software upgrade is still ongoing and many old features will resurface once everything's been finished and the rough edges have been smoothed out.

Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.
If you just want to know the meaning of a word, try OneLook Dictionary Search first.
Check out the 'Member Info' link under the username in each post...

I'm having a problem with the new system on my Mac, using Firefox. If I click "Reply with Quote" I get the box to type my reply in, and then my only choice to actually post my reply is the "Post Quick Reply" button. If I click that, I get a message at the top of my screen asking if I'm sure I want to leave the page. If I say no, I just get left with the page with my unposted reply. If I say yes, it takes me to another page with a message saying I've tried to post too many posts in 30 seconds. It shows my reply and this time I get a "Submit Reply" button. After 30 seconds, I can press that and it posts my reply - twice! I've made two posts so far and both times, I've had to go back in and delete one of my duplicate responses. I expect I'll have to do it with this one as well.
Edit: That solved one question. I didn't get duplicate posts this time but I think that's because I just used the "Reply to Thread" button in the first place. The problem only seems to occur when I use the "Reply with Quote" button but that's the one I use most often.
I am moving the thread into the Support area for the webmaster to look into this.
I only meant that it could be added in a sentence or two to the orange box at the top of the page - formerly labeled Notices - like this:
(WordReference forums)Thread titles must include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed. (Avoid phrases like "translation please", "how do I say this", "I'm new" and similar expressions.)

Thanks, guys, for the new forum!
Being a software engineer, I appreciate your efforts a lot.
We are lucky you keep the forum at the cutting-edge of computer technology.
As to senseless titles, the only idea that came to me was to create the set of rules for all titles on 'Ask Teacher' that every user must obey. Like '[Present Perfect] have done or did' or '[Vocabulary] cumbersome' or '[Pharsal] getting off the phone with' etc.
At least the main part of a question (the part in brackets) will be mandatory.
