Not all that long ago, our home country, native language and 'status' appared under our names. Then we had to click for this information. Now we have to go to peoples' profiles for this information.
Why is that?
I varied the tone of my responses depending on this information. It makes a difference to me whether the person I am addressing is a native-speaking teacher or a non-native student, but, when I am concentrating on their question, I don't always think of clicking several times to check on this information. I admit that this is laziness/thoughtlessness on my part, but i don't understand why we have lost this useful facility.
