Printing out

Hello.

I've been learning a lot since I first visited UsingEnglish.com.
I'd like to extend my deepest gratitude to those who kindly devote a lot of time and effort to answering our questions.

Now I have a query about printing out web pages.
I've enjoyed learning in 'Ask a Teacher' section. It is filled with interesting information about the English language, which I cannot get from grammar books. It is like a treasure box.
So...what I'd like to do is...to print it (what I've learned, or what I've found useful) out, so that I can refer back to it whenever I want to. Of course I can always search what I need when I come here, but unfortunately, I often forget the title of the thread...and it takes some time to find it.

I've tried to print out those posts in 'Ask a Teacher' section several times, but the printouts don't look like the one displayed on the monitor. They are distorted. (Do you see what I mean?) It might be a technical problem, so I might not be able to do anything about it...but if there is a solution to it, please do let me know.

In what way are they distorted? I have just hit Print Preview and the thread looks fine (not so colourful, though, because it would be a waste of printer ink). How are you trying to print them? Did you click on Thread Tools > Show Printable Version at the top of the first post or you hit CTRL + P while on the page? Can you post a screenshot of your distorted printouts? Does it look OK on the monitor and badly on the paper?

P.S. I just clicked on the 'printer icon' on the browser. But, thanks to you, I've found the 'Thread Tools.'

The printable version gives you the content without lots of wasted ink on graphics. It's functional rather than pretty, but it's easier on the environment.
