Problems with site?

Are you guys having problems with the site, or are there some changes/upgrades being made behind the scenes? For the last hour and a half, I've barely been able to use it. Sometimes it doesn't load at all and then when I can get in, I get to the end of posting a comment, hit "Submit" and then I just get a spinning circle and nothing happens.

If there's something going on, fine, but it would be good to know so that I can do other things and then come back later when it's up and running again.

EDIT: It seems to be fixed now but I don't seem to be able to delete this thread.

Sorry about that. I have looked at the logs and there was a huge spike in activity yesterday, but we weren't upgrading anything.
