You can always PM a moderator to ask if we will re-open the thread for you. If we receive such a request from an established member, we will re-open for a useful comment, especially if we have banned the troll. One or two of us are not particularly competent with the moderator keyboard (:oops:). Rather than risk accidentally banning an innocent bystander or deleting useful posts, I close the thread to stop the troll wasting anybody's time, and leave the banning to more competent moderators.
