    Default Titles under your name

Not really sure what they're called exactly, but the title under your name. (Newbie/new member/member etc)

I was wondering how exactly that's calculated.

I'm currently listed as a 'member' yet other members are classified as 'senior members' that have been on the forum for less time than me.

Is it based on join date? Post count? something else?

More so out of interest, not jealousy of higher titles

    Cheers

Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.

You may think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

Is there any difference between member rankings apart from their post count? Any special functions for higher-ranking members or something of that sort?
I'm not a teacher, or a native English speaker. Feel free to edit my posts if you encounter any mistakes in them (be it grammatical or vocabular). It'll help me to improve my command of English.

None at all. It's just a fun way of recognising regular posters.
