Red face Post reply vs Quick reply

Hello,
Could anyone explain to me in a dummy-friendly way the difference?
Thank you very much.

Hi Humble
.
I'm afraid I'm also a dummy when it comes to the "Quick Reply" function, but I have now discovered that there is an icon in your post (at the bottom right) that I can click on to activate this function. So, this is a so-called "Quick Reply". I've noticed that things like smilies aren't available if you choose Quick Reply...

Hi Philly,
It's nice to have a companion. I hope it won't be long before Red5 explains everything to us.

Quick reply is faster to load because it doesn't have to load the HTML editor, so it's convenient for people answering a lot of posts. However, it doesn't have all the tools that the Post Reply feature gives you, though you can include smilies and formatting if you knoe the codes. As I have to try to answer a lot of posts, I use the Quick Reply a lot. (Smiley added manually)
