| The space allocated is the same for everyone. I would not want a 10Mb document attached to a discussion anyway. As Bob suggested, you could try compressing it.

| If the problem is the image, zipping it won't help: the commonest formats (GIF, JPEG and TIFF) are already compressed, and so won't compress any further. Why do you need to attach a Word document with such a large picture in it? |

| They could use a third-party host such as 'Picasa Web Albums' (from Picasa) or Flickr (at http://www.flickr.com/).
