Are moderators getting salarly/commission for their service/help?

This question is haunting me for many days.

PS This explains why our attendance isn't totally reliable. For example, I haven't had a teaching job for a while, but I'm working 15 hrs/week from today - good news for me... but it means I won't be visiting the forums so often.
