Is there anyone who can explain why the capitals and italics in my replies are reversed by the software and, more importantly, what I can do to fix it.
I have tried adding something original before I type in the quoted box; I have tried fixing the posts in preview mode, but the formatting that shows up in preview mode is not what I end up with.
I can remember that there was at least one other teacher who was complaining about this a few months ago.
It's embarrassing, since I make it a point to correct the punctuation of learners, but the software won't accept my own punctuation.
PS: It only happens when I make comments in a quoted box. I'd prefer not to have to stop doing this. |

It might help if you attach before-and-after screenshots of what you intend to write and how you see it in the completed post, just so I can start understanding what might be happening.
I have to say I've not once once seen this happen in the seven years the forum's been running, so it will be an interesting challenge.
