Default error correction

Hi,
i hope im doing this right and hopefully get a response.

Im also doing the Tefl course, and its about error correction i must give what caused the error, and for this one "people is very friendly" I know better that people is plural and we would use people are friendly, i just dont know how i would answer what caused the error!
any help or opinions would be great! thanks

Default Re: error correction

That's it. The verb 'is' caused the error. It should take the plural verb 'are' because the subject 'people' is plural. =)
