I'd suggest:

"Fever," Peggy Lee
"Stranger in Paradise," Tony Bennett
"Baby I'm a fool," Melody Gardot

Rod Stwart's "Sailing" is a must for present continuous

If you want some fun, for beginner's, you may use "The Book is on the Table"

And for intermmediate student's I suggest San Franciso by Scott McKenzie

This is a nice song with an easy text for pupils. I use it often in classroom activities:

YouTube - Kelly family-Santa maria(live at lorelei)#31

best,

Madox

Hi!

My suggestion is "All My Loving" by the Beatles.

It's easy to understand and it's a happy song!

Moreover, if you teach it you can use as an introduction to the Future Simple tense. It is suitable for 7th EFL grades or younger ESL pupils.

Enjoy :)
