Default difference between "a" and "the"

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone can give me a lesson plan highlighting the differences between "a" and "the." I am tutoring a student and he needs help in this area. Thank you.

Try this one: "A, An, The" definite and indefinite articles in English - Beginning Guide to indefinite articles

You might want to modify it a little but I think it can help.
