| Hi BobK I believe the sentence length refers to the average number of words per sentence, but it does depend on whether you take the first and or last lines in WC's text into account. MS Word has a word-count facility under the tools menu. Not sure about "lexical density", which i would have expected to be higher in your 2nd example. Regards NT |
