| Have I broken them into components correctly ???? Is the clause correct?? please help pretty please 1. They cannot breathe properly in that stuffy room. Subject = they Verb = cannot breathe properly = adverbial in that stuffy room = direct object. Od clause > monotransitive clause. 2. Could they really sing well after a meal? Subj = they verb = Could sing (modal simple) obj = after a meal adv = well (SVo ) = Monotransitive clause |
