Question Text analysis and structuring

In writing, words have many related exspressions. My problem is how to structure the words in a basic form which could be understood...clearly. If the sentence looks right and sounds right after I write it...I go with it. I am more interested in sentence constructure than the words I use. Am I off base here in my writing...like this paragraph? Paul

If it sounds right to you, go with it. Usually, if it sounds right, it is right.
