I would suggest the grammar-translation method. Notice that the grammatical structures, legal terminology, and the standard equivalents of legal texts must be observed meticulously.
For example, you have to find the established equivalent of the term “abrogation” in your mother tongue and avoid using other possible synonyms. I think “ILQA” is an acceptable translation for “abrogation” in Arabic. Is it?
Legal language can cause many problems, so being flexible and adapting to suit the students' needs at a particular stage might work. It can be very difficult to extract the meaning and may require several re-readings.
