    It means you'll get to some place and not be able to return.
    Given the title, I'd say it means you die. Maybe you go insane. Maybe it's not meant to be analysed - it just sounded good and 'back' rhymes with 'black'.
    But in general, "making it back" from somewhere means managing to return.
