the type of the text such as narrative, recount, report, description, explanation, exposition, news items, discussion, hortatory exposition and analitycal exposition. what are their generic structure?
would you mind to give me information and example about this???
Report-usually facts and verifiable information; technical in nature
Descriptive-describing someone; something
Explanatory-explaining something by example; anecdote
Exposition-uses the above to; exposes something to the reader
News Item-Uses who, what, when, where, why -Objective POV; uses 3rd person pronouns; top down structure (all pertinent info introduced within the first paragraph
Oratory, analytical, and discussion-not sure exactly what you mean.
Everything always fits into a basic 5 paragraph structure: Introduction; Para 1, 2, 3 and Summary/Conclusion-Introduction tells the reader what the paper will be about, main idea is here; body is 3 paragraphs giving information; and summary/conclusion retells what the paper is about, or a call to action.
Not sure if this is what you're asking.
