    Smile Grammar-phrasal verbs

Can you please check whether the phrasal verbs in these sentences have been used correctly.

    1. Peter's parents are moving for a divorce.
    2. The balloon blew up when my brother accidentally stepped on it.

If the phrasal verbs are not accurate, can you please replace them with an accurate phrasal verbs.

    Thank you

    Shamila

    Re: Grammar-phrasal verbs

I wouldn't use a phrasal for either of those.
They are getting a divorce, and the balloon popped.

For #1 I would say: Peter's parents are filing for a divorce. (presenting papers to the court)

    2. I agree that the correct way to express #2 is to say: The balloon popped... I don't think there is a phrasal verb for it.
