    How to pronounce a Texas town.

    How is the Texas town (Edcouch) pronounced? Is it Ed Couch? Or Ed Cock?

    If the name is French in origin, it would probably have been 'edkoosh'. How do people there pronounce it?

    Texas appears to have its own pronunciation guide: stress on the first syllable, ed'kowch.
