    Default that far/thus far/that excited/that's all/got that far

    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to share with me your opinion concerning the plausibility of the following sentences?

    They won’t go that far.
    that far = so far

Our success has been limited thus far.
thus far = up to this point

He could not say a word, he was that excited.

That’s about all I can tell you.

That’s all there is to it. =And that’s that.

That’s the last they see of me.

He’s less of a fool than he looks.

That’s all they care, they couldn’t care less.

That’s about all I can tell you.

Gregory was not so stupid. He did not think he would be left alone by his enemies.

    We haven’t got that far.

I had no idea it was that important to you.

Now that you're here, you might as well stay for dinner.
now that = seeing that, since

Would that it were so. = If only that were so.
would that = I wish that

    Thank you for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V.
