    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Do we have an English idiom which can be used to say some one is better than the rest of people? For example, one doctor is much better in his work than the others in the same hospital. Or the plan written by some one is much better than th eplan written by others

    Dr. Smith is head and shoulders above the other doctors at the hospital.

    Dr. Smith is a cut above the other doctors at the hospital.
