Do all the three forms of conditionals remain the same in reported speech?
(without any changes in the verb tenses?) Thanks in advance...
The only conditional that typically gets shifted into past tense forms is the following type (sometimes referred to as a Type 1 conditional):
1. Tom: "If the weather is nice tomorrow, I will go cycling."
Tom said if the weather was nice tomorrow he would go cycling.
The tenses in other conditionals may be left unchanged when reported, although variations are possible.
